I will probably be the millionth person to mention The Photographs Not Taken but it definitely worth the look. There have been many many moments I decided not to take the shot. It makes me feel a bit guilty because it can contribute to my family series but then I think, “This moment is mine and for me to enjoy only.” Professors will tell you to push your boundaries and shoot everything and anything. Instead of “photographer-mode,” I like the “daughter/granddaughter/sister/cousin-mode” more sometimes. Then I realize how the photographs I do take contribute to my ever growing relationship with my family.
