all dressed up in dreams

seriously where are the photos?
no explanation for the possible silkscreen sketch.. i love listening to other people bullshit about my work. it’s always amazing the stuff people come up with. i bet someone will mention feminism.. especially with the washing machines and the fact that i am female. subconsciously, i am making feminist art.. ha!

i got into Page France which is soo Christian.. and i hadn’t realized it until after listening to two albums for the 3rd time.. hmm, maybe this is Christian folk indie type musica? i dont know what to do with myself now.

so i’m just a little delirious.

dont ask me what’s the meaning behind it; i’m just as confused as what my head comes up with sometimes. i’m getting in touch with photoshop.. how i still find you so frustrating.

only a sophomore in college and i’m having my random panics about the future. where will i be, what will i do, will i be happy and make my parents proud? or will i waste 4 years of college studying art that depletes bank accounts very quickly? it always boils down to money. it’s reality and i won’t survive without it.

nikki lee came to speak last night. she spoke about groups.. identity was defined by the group you associated with for her in korea so coming to america and experiencing individualism was odd. she managed to dive into american stereotypes of different cultures tho.. so individualism seemed lost in her photos. as much as she was exploiting the groups and the idea of stereotyping, it’s inevitable to escape. being such a cynic, i doubt stereotypes will ever leave the world. try walking from chinatown to upper west side.. the number of different cultures is immense.

i dont know what i’m rambling about. i’ll go back to reading my life away about homelessness, contemporary art, human sexuality, 19th c. art, and children & photography.

i saw a flower on the doorstep making love w/ the sun, and it turned into a garden when they were done. so they’ll construct themselves a home all made of water soil and air, there the cylce has begun. until the good starts making well w/ all the evil, we remain as two. -page france-

i think it’s funny that New Yorkers are calling the 26″ of snow the Blizzard of 06.. um, come to Syracuse. in Cantonese… Syracuse is translated to be “Snow City”.. (i wouldnt have known if my pops didnt tell me)

be amazed by chris natrop’s cut-paper artwork. mind boggling at the fragility of it all.

just realized my red carpet photo is on Surfstation. go to 08. Pick One to see it.. but you’ve seen it before, many times. good website for to get rid of creative blocks.

just also realized the photo was featured for a day at File Magazine. Seen here.

now let’s churn out some more photos before i become a one hit wonder.
